SHIFT BOARD — DEVELOPMENT UPDATE

We’ve made major progress on the core visual identity and gameplay assets for Shift Board.

🎴 Card System (Complete Style Pass)

Full card redesign finalized
Removed clutter (no stats/orbs) for a cleaner, tactical feel
Unified hand-painted medieval style across:
King
Queen
Bishop
Knight
Rook
Pawn

🧱 Tile System

White Tile Card ✔️
Black Tile Card ✔️
Tiles now feel like playable elements, not background pieces

♟️ Board Identity

Visual direction locked in
Strong contrast between light/dark spaces
Built to support shifting mechanics clearly

“SHIFT BOARD” branded design complete
Consistent with the rest of the UI
Ready for deck implementation
